Nael's big opportunity

Nael's big opportunity
Nael stood nervously on the sidelines of the soccer field in Adventureland. Today was the big selection game day for the school team. His older brother Luis, who was already captain of the youth team, had postponed his visit from the moon especially to be part of it. “You can do it!” , Luis shouted from the stands. Nael took a deep breath. He had trained hard for the last few weeks, every afternoon after school. He had even practiced ball feeling while reading his favorite books.
The coach kicks off the game. Nael felt his heart race. The first few minutes were bumpy — he was too excited to find his usual rhythm. But then he remembered Luis' words from the previous evening: “Just play with joy, the rest comes naturally.” With every pass, Nael became safer. He began to read the game as he had learned in his books. His teammates quickly realized that they could trust him.
It happened in the second half: Nael recognized a gap in the opponent's defense. With a clever move that he had practiced for days, he played around two defenders. The goalkeeper came out, but Nael kept his nerve. With a precise shot, he pushed the ball into the net. The audience cheered, and Luis jumped up enthusiastically from his seat.
After the game, all players gathered around the coach. Nael waited eagerly while the trainer went over his notes. “I saw a lot of potential today,” he began. “Especially with a player who not only showed talent but also team spirit.” Nael's heart was beating faster. “Nael, welcome to the team!” The other players clapped, and Luis hurried onto the field to hug his little brother.
In the evening, the brothers sat together in Nael's room. “You know,” Luis said, “sometimes you just need the courage to believe in yourself.” Nael nodded. He had not only won a place in the team today, but also understood that practice and stamina lead to success. “Next time,” he grinned, “I'll visit you on the moon and then we'll play together.” Luis laughed. “Agreed! But there are different rules up there — the ball floats a bit longer there.” The brothers made long plans for future adventures while outside the stars twinkled across Adventureland.
